I can confirm, having been to the ground for a game before, that there is indeed fuck all around the ground. Have a good one all.

My son and girlfriend are on their way to Malta now, staying in Sliema.
Would he be best advised to head to St Julians before the game, I am keen for him to meet up with other Hammers fans and travel to the game with them.
Any advice anyone?

Good luck to all those going out there, gutted i can't make it due to going to Ireland on friday, Malta is like my 2nd home go there 3/4 times a year, great bar in St Julians called The Scotsman, has my West Ham scarf hanging proudly on the wall, Dave the guvnor will make you all feel more than welcome.

Wish I had the dough for this as the last time I was in Malta was 1979 near the Mosta Dome.Was lucky enough to get plenty of free drinks in the bars just for being English.

Will let you know tomorrow Norf, as were waiting on the Malta hammers supports club to lets us know if there really is sweet FA around the ground.
If there isn't I'm guessing it will be about an hour before kick off.

What plans do people have for getting back from the ground after the game? Hope for a crowd of taxis waiting to be hired? a 6 mile walk? It doesn't look as if there will be buses at that time on night!
